Zeopilot / WordPress
Installation, WordPress permissions, protected data access, and owner-controlled website improvements — clearly explained.
Getting started
Install the Zeopilot WordPress plugin, sign in as an administrator, and open Settings → Zeopilot. The plugin is free; the hosted Zeopilot service requires a separate account.
Choose Create Zeopilot connection. WordPress generates a dedicated application password, separate from your personal sign-in password, which you can revoke whenever needed.
Sign in to Zeopilot, open your website setup, and enter the WordPress site URL, username, and application password into Zeopilot's protected connection form. Verify the website.
Read site information and evaluate proposals. Installing a plugin does not publish a change. Publishing, rollback and experiments use additional access, evidence checks, and owner approval.
Permission transparency
The plugin uses WordPress application passwords. An authorized administrator creates and revokes the credential from WordPress settings. Zeopilot handles the credential on its protected server, and WordPress permissions still apply.
After you explicitly connect a site, Zeopilot may read its pages, titles, content, and metadata to analyze or prepare suggestions. Proposals cannot publish directly: separate approval and verification are required.
Privacy and consent
WordPress site information and selected page content can reach Zeopilot only after your authorized connection. The plugin does not install advertising or unrelated tracking libraries.
When you explicitly enable an experiment, the plugin may set a pseudonymous visitor assignment cookie named wa_vid for up to one year and relay signed exposure or click events to the configured Zeopilot endpoint. With no active experiment, no new experiment cookie is created. Site owners must honor applicable consent and notice requirements.
Questions and support
